In short: Parapet facades hide the gutters that matter most. On a Fraser Rise handover the box gutter overflow was built so roof water could pour straight into it.
A gutter inside the roof
A box gutter sits within the roof line behind a parapet. If its outlet blocks, the overflow is the only thing keeping rain out of the house. On this Fraser Rise home the overflow did not follow an AS 3500.3 design and water from the roof could run directly into it.
Capping that holds water
On another Fraser Rise handover the parapet capping was laid flat. The NCC needs at least 5 degrees of fall so water runs off instead of sitting on the joints.
What the drone shows
None of this is visible from the driveway of a two storey home. The drone gives a clear look at the box gutter, the overflow and the capping without anyone walking the roof.
